What an exciting time of spiritual growth and development it has been for our youth group, AXIS!

The AXIS members have been very active through several ministries, including evangelistic drama presentations, out of state missions training trips and VBS initiatives.

The youth group meets regularly on Friday nights at IAG Sanctuary from 7.00 to 8.30 PM. It’s a fun-filled time of fellowship, worship and biblical teachings. With the start of the new school year, the youth have been introduced to the subject of Apologetics. Our mission is to help our young individuals be firmly established in the Word of God so they can be more equipped to defend their faith in Christ.

The interactive sessions and special speakers have really broadened their understanding of Christianity in light of science and secular worldviews. We hope and pray that this will help them to approach these areas with more confidence as well as build on their understanding of the Word of God.

Of course, Friday meetings are also called fellowship nights. The youth love to hang out together for various times of fellowship and worship. It’s heartening to see how supportive they are of one another through friendship, mentoring, and service. God has evidenced such special areas of gifting and potential in each and every one, and we believe the best is yet to come.

Why our youth ministry is called AXIS?

Just like Earth rotates on its axis once every 24 hours, we believe Jesus must be the center of our lives on which our world turns. He never changes and stays as our constant line of support, no matter what season of life we are in. As it’s said in Colossians 1:17, “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”
